Vice-Chancellor Engages Students in Open Dialogue

The Vice-Chancellor of Central University, Prof. Kwasi Dartey-Baah, on Thursday, 22nd January 2026, held an interactive dialogue with students as part of the University’s continuous efforts to strengthen engagement with its student body and promote a supportive academic environment.

The session provided a platform for open and constructive interaction between University leadership and students, allowing participants to freely express their concerns, seek clarification on pertinent issues, and receive guidance on academic and student life matters. Supporting the Vice-Chancellor during the engagement was the Dean of Students and Alumni Affairs, Prof. Adelaide Kastner, who contributed to addressing students’ questions and concerns.

In his address, Prof. Dartey-Baah underscored the importance of academic integrity, urging students to desist from all forms of examination malpractice. He encouraged them to focus on disciplined study habits and adequate preparation as they approach their upcoming examinations, emphasizing that integrity and hard work remain central to the University’s values.

The Vice-Chancellor also reassured students of Management’s commitment to their welfare and academic success, noting that student feedback remains an essential component of the University’s decision-making and continuous improvement processes. The dialogue session concluded on a positive note, with students expressing appreciation for the opportunity to engage directly with University leadership and receive guidance and encouragement as they progress in their academic journey.
