In keeping with the University’s Strategic vision of a truly student-centred university, Vice Chancellor Professor Samuel Kwasi Dartey-Baah held an engaging meeting with leaders of various student clubs and associations on Wednesday, 29th October 2025.

The session, which took place at the New Senate Room in the Yankah Block, reflected his conviction that students are the “heartbeat” of Central University and must remain central to every decision that shapes campus life. The interaction provided a lively platform for students to share their perspectives on how the university can better serve their academic, social, and personal growth.

Framing the conversation around two thought-provoking questions — “Who are we?” and “What should we do to be the university you want?” — Professor Dartey-Baah encouraged the student leaders to reflect deeply on the university’s identity and their role in shaping its future.

Participants described the meeting as timely and inspiring, noting the Vice Chancellor’s openness to dialogue and genuine interest in student welfare.
