Vice-Chancellor Commissions Second Phase of the Pave My Way Project

On Thursday, December 4, 2025, Central University marked another significant milestone in its commitment to holistic student development as the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Samuel Kwasi Dartey-Baah, officially commissioned the second phase of the Pave My Way Project, an initiative spearheaded by the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the 2025 Students’ Representative Council (SRC).

The ceremony highlighted the SRC’s dedication to leaving a lasting legacy and improving the campus environment for the benefit of present and future students. University Management commended the IMC for its vision, initiative, and commitment to community enhancement, describing the project as a true reflection of responsible leadership in action.

Holistic Education: Building More Than Academic Excellence

In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor emphasized that the modern world requires far more than academic qualifications. Today’s employers seek individuals who demonstrate character, creativity, leadership, practical experience, and integrity.

“At Central University, our mission goes beyond awarding degrees. We aim to transform students into well-rounded leaders grounded in our core values — Faith, Integrity, and Excellence,” he noted.

This mission is fulfilled through intentional leadership and soft skills development integrated into academic and student life. Central University believes these experiences equip students to lead with integrity and influence positive change in their organisations and communities.

Commendation to the 2025 SRC IMC

University Management expressed profound appreciation to the IMC of the 2025 SRC for its commitment to giving back to the University community through the Pave My Way Project.

“We celebrate these future leaders and remain committed to supporting their journey toward becoming transformational leaders in their various career paths,” the statement added.

A Legacy of Leadership

The Pave My Way Project stands as a testament to the power of student initiative and the University’s mission to nurture virtuous, transformational leaders. As Central University continues to shape lives and build futures, projects like this reinforce the institution’s belief that leadership is not a position — it is a lifestyle of service, impact, and excellence.
