Brief biographical introduction: Regina Naa Dedei Crabbe is a dedicated and passionate lecturer in the Computer Science and IT Department at Central University’s School of Engineering and Technology. With a strong background in the field, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role, inspiring and guiding students in their academic journey. She holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST). She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Cape Coast. Her educational background equips her with a solid foundation in computer science and IT, allowing her to stay abreast of the latest developments and emerging technologies in the industry.
Research interests: primary research focus revolves around the application of transformer models in higher education. Her current PhD research explores the topic of “Predicting students’ academic performance using transformer models in higher education.” Through her research, she aims to leverage the power of these advanced machine learning techniques to develop accurate models that can predict and understand students’ academic performance. Her work has the potential to revolutionize the field of education and contribute to personalized learning approaches.
