
Profile
Dr. Peace Doe is a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacology with a strong background in bioactive natural products. Her research focuses on the discovery, characterization, and pharmacological evaluation of natural compounds derived from medicinal plants. She is particularly interested in antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agents and in understanding the mechanisms underlying their therapeutic effects.
Dr. Doe also investigates factors that contribute to antimicrobial resistance (AMR), with the aim of identifying innovative strategies to address this growing global health challenge.
In addition to her research, she contributes actively to academic and administrative services that enhance student learning within the University and the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. She is dedicated to mentoring students, supporting curriculum development, and fostering critical thinking and scientific inquiry.
Her goal is to continue growing as a scientist while advancing impactful research in pharmacology and training the next generation of pharmacists and researchers.
