MRS. LILY MARTINA YEBOAH NUTAKOR

Mrs. Lily Martina Yeboah Nutakor’s career spans over two decades, with 19 years dedicated to Central University where her leadership and financial expertise has played a crucial role in shaping the university’s financial strategy and growth. Mrs. Nutakor’s academic journey is rooted in Central University where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and MBA in Finance. Her educational background, combined with her extensive professional experience, uniquely qualifies her to lead the university’s administrative affairs. 

Her appointment as Registrar by the University Council is historic as she becomes the first lady and the first alumna to hold this esteemed position. Prior to her appointment as Registrar, she served with distinction as the Director of Finance, consistently exceeding targets and managing expectations through a proactive consultative approach.

Lily is an active member of several professional bodies, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), the Chartered Institute of Management (CIM) and who is recognized for her excellent customer service skills, interpersonal abilities, and demonstrable leadership qualities.

Since she got into the employ of Central University in 2004, Mrs. Nutakor has been actively involved in various committees, contributing to the institution’s governance and development. She has served as member of the following: The University Clinic Board; Financing Plan Committee, Student Affairs Committee, and several others. Her commitment to the university’s growth is further demonstrated through her election as Chairman of the Staff Welfare Association since 2019.

Mrs. Nutakor, an ICGC member, is passionate about being part of a successful and productive team, and her outgoing personality and level-headedness make her an effective team player and motivator.
