Job Description:
The Office Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including photocopying, typesetting, administrative duties, binding, and general office management. Your organizational skills, punctuality and ability to multitask will be essential in supporting our team and maintaining an efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform photocopying, printing, and binding tasks as needed.
- Assist with typesetting documents and preparing materials for presentations.
- Manage general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Organize and maintain office files and records.
- Support team members with various tasks and projects as assigned.
- Ensure the office is kept clean, organized, and welcoming.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Secretaryship and Management Studies or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution; WASCCE may be considered plus additional qualifications in office administration or related fields are a plus.
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic office equipment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
