National Sales Manager
Job Location: Kumasi
The ideal candidate for the position need to have a proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies, managing large sales teams, and fostering strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development:
- ï‚· Â Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals and market share objectives.
- ï‚· Â Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- ï‚· Â Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- ï‚· Â Set clear sales targets and performance expectations for team members.
- ï‚· Â Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and supportprofessional development.
- Sales Operations:
- ï‚· Â Oversee and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring effective tracking, forecasting, and reporting of sales activities and performance.
- ï‚· Â Collaborate with other departments, such to align sales strategies with company objectives.
- Client Relationship Management:
- ï‚· Â Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
- ï‚· Â Negotiate and close major sales deals, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Market Expansion:
- ï‚· Â Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments to drive growth.
- ï‚· Â Develop and implement strategies for market penetration and expansion.
6. Sales Performance Analysis:
- ï‚· Â Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.
- ï‚· Â Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
7. Budget and Resource Management:
- ï‚· Â Develop and manage the national sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
-   Optimize sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and productivity. Qualifications:
-   Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- ï‚· Â Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- ï‚· Â Extensive knowledge of sales principles, practices, and techniques.
- ï‚· Â Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- ï‚· Â Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive strategic decision-making.
- ï‚· Â Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- ï‚· Â Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred:
- ï‚· Â Experience in agribusiness or FMCG is a plus.
- ï‚· Â Established network of industry contacts and clients.
-   Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean recordWorking Conditions:
- ï‚· Â Full-time position with travel requirements to visit agents, farmers, and client.
