National Sales Manager

Job Location: Kumasi

The ideal candidate for the position need to have a proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies, managing large sales teams, and fostering strong relationships with key clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy Development:
    • ï‚·  Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals and market share objectives.
    • ï‚·  Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  2. Team Leadership and Management:
    • ï‚·  Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team.
    • ï‚·  Set clear sales targets and performance expectations for team members.
    • ï‚·  Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and supportprofessional development.
  3. Sales Operations:
    • ï‚·  Oversee and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring effective tracking, forecasting, and reporting of sales activities and performance.
    • ï‚·  Collaborate with other departments, such to align sales strategies with company objectives.
  4. Client Relationship Management:
    • ï‚·  Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
    • ï‚·  Negotiate and close major sales deals, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  5. Market Expansion:
    • ï‚·  Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments to drive growth.
    • ï‚·  Develop and implement strategies for market penetration and expansion.

6. Sales Performance Analysis:

  • ï‚·  Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.
  • ï‚·  Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

7. Budget and Resource Management:

  • ï‚·  Develop and manage the national sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • ï‚·  Optimize sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and productivity. Qualifications:
  • ï‚·  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • ï‚·  Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • ï‚·  Extensive knowledge of sales principles, practices, and techniques.
  • ï‚·  Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • ï‚·  Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive strategic decision-making.
  • ï‚·  Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • ï‚·  Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred:
  • ï‚·  Experience in agribusiness or FMCG is a plus.
  • ï‚·  Established network of industry contacts and clients.
  • ï‚·  Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean recordWorking Conditions:
  • ï‚·  Full-time position with travel requirements to visit agents, farmers, and client.
