MR. DAVID L. DOADE

Brief Introduction: a professional teacher/lecturer, highly experienced and with expertise in the teaching of the English language and Literature in English Communication Skills, Business Communication, etc. His teaching spans secondary/high schools and tertiary institutions in Ghana. Mr. Doade holds an MPhil and a BA (Hons.)  Degrees in English, both acquired in the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Diploma in English at ATTC, Winneba. He is the Chief Examiner of English for Public Services Commissions Promotion Examinations, Trainer of English for Parliamentary Service Staff, and the Controller and Accountant Department Candidates for Promotion Examinations and, also, an Examiner (TM) for the West African Examinations Council.

Research Interests: the areas include Language and Society – the interference of Ghanaian languages with Standard British English as observed in the writings of some selected Ghanaian columnists, the effects of pronunciation on the spellings of some English words by some university students, and language use in the social media.
