Bright, a distinguished Senior Lecturer within the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the School of Pharmacy, Central University, Ghana, boasts of an extensive career spanning over a decade, marked by profound contributions to both Teaching and Research.
Bright holds a BSc. in Biochemistry from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana and MSc. (by Research) in Pharmaceutical Analysis from Coventry University, United Kingdom (UK).
Embracing an overarching mission as an ardent source of motivation and a catalyst for positive change, Bright endeavors to utilize the vast knowledge, skills, and experience amassed throughout his professional trajectory to ignite hope, instill confidence, and inspire individuals to unlock their full potential and evolve into their best versions.
His research focuses on harnessing the vast therapeutic potential of natural products, aiming to revolutionize healthcare and enhance the quality of life. Additionally, he is deeply invested in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety, striving to minimize the negative impact of workplace and environmental hazards through improved knowledge, attitudes, and practices. His commitment to advancing knowledge is evident through his contributions as a co-author of numerous research articles published in peer-reviewed journals.
In addition to his scholarly pursuits, Bright has actively served on various boards and committees within the university, such as the Faculty Board, Institutional Review Board, Compliance and Quality Assurance Board, and the Timetable Committee. Currently, he is member of the University Council as a non-Professorial representative and also serves as the President of the Central University Teachers’ Association.
