POSITION OVERVIEW:
The HR Officer will play a key role in managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and administration. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the company.Employee Relations:
- Address employee queries and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and promoting a positive working environment.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and provide feedback to management.
- Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends and legal requirements.Performance Management:
- Support performance appraisal processes and provide guidance to managers on performance management practices.
- Assist in the development of performance improvement plans and employee development programs.HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personal information, contracts, and attendance.
- Process HR-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, promotions, and terminations.
- Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics to support decision-making.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions for employees.
- Support the development and delivery of employee development programs.Employee Benefits and Compensation:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Assist in the management of compensation and salary reviews. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Officer, HR Coordinator, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software (e.g., HRIS systems).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred:
- Professional HR certification (e.g.,CIHRM) is a plus.
