- The Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design programme is an inspiring, rigorous and practical curriculum that offers students the unique opportunity to use creativity and imagination to design and make products that solve real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts. Currently, few tertiary institutions in the country run a comprehensive academic curriculum in Graphic Design. The B.Sc. Graphic Design students will undertake the same courses in the foundation level with other students in the B.Sc. Landscape Design, Interior Design and Fashion Design programmes. The foundation of the programme introduces students to the multi-disciplinary fundamentals of design across different facets of design, such as techniques in form-making and conceptual visualization. The design elements progressively increase in depth and complexity over the next three years with the introduction of the interior specialization area interwoven with research, skills and visualization to enhance the academics with profession-specific requirements. Central University is committed to the highest standard of learning and teaching experience, educating students to become professional providers of services and products in the interior design environment. The University, therefore, believes that mounting this programme will expand the career opportunities in the design industry for many Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSSCE) and West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) graduates and their equivalent school leavers. The programme will also create opportunities for the large body of mature candidates desiring to improve their potentials to move up the professional ladder in the graphic design industry.
