
On Monday, 1st December 2025, a delegation from Ecobank Ghana paid a courtesy call on the Management of Central University (CU) at the Miotso Campus. The visit reaffirmed the long-standing relationship between the two institutions and explored new avenues for enhanced collaboration.
Ecobank Ghana has, over the years, been a strategic and valued partner of Central University, contributing to various institutional initiatives and supporting the University in its mission of raising virtuous and transformational leaders. The meeting offered an opportunity for both parties to reflect on the progress of this partnership and to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation for mutual benefit.

During the discussions, Management and the Ecobank team considered areas such as:
- Expanding financial solutions tailored for CU students and staff
- Supporting University-level research, innovation, and entrepreneurship
- Enhancing internship and recruitment opportunities for CU students
- Partnering on capacity-building and professional development programmes
- Exploring digital and financial technology collaborations in support of CU’s STEM and business programmes
The delegation from Ecobank expressed their commitment to supporting the University’s growth agenda and commended CU for its leadership in private higher education, particularly in STEM, Business, and Applied Sciences.
