Prof. Raymond A. Tetteh is an accredited Clinical Pharmacy tutor practitioner with specialty in Infectious diseases, Pharmacotherapy, Pharmacoepidemiology, Pharmacovigilance and Pharmaceutical Policy Analysis. He worked at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital from 1988 to 2019, moving through the grades of Pharmacist to Consultant Clinical Pharmacist. He qualified as a pharmacist from the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania in 1987 and later obtained an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy from the Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen) in UK, 2001. After accreditation as a tutor practitioner by the RGU, he started lecturing in three Schools of Pharmacy on a part-time basis (UGSOP, KNUSTSOP, and CUSOP). He retired in 2019 and joined Central University on a full-time basis following 10 years of adjunct lectureship.
Prof. Tetteh is a Fellow of the Ghana College of Pharmacists as well as the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists. He has served on the Pharmacy Council of Ghana and led the Government and Hospital Pharmacists Group (GHOSPA) as Chairman for so many years. He completed a PhD program in 2018 at the Utrecht University in the Netherlands under the auspices of the WHO. He is an examiner of the Ghana College of Pharmacists and the West African Post Graduate College of Pharmacists and is presently the Dean of the Central University School of Pharmacy
