DR. ERNEST K. KOBO

Ernest K. Bobo is a Lecturer at the Central University and he holds a PhD in Population Studies from the University of Ghana, Legon. Ernest also has a Master of Philosophy in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Ghana. Throughout his academic and professional journey, Ernest has demonstrated a profound commitment to improving the well-being of young mothers and their communities.

Research Interests

His research focuses on exploring the various factors influencing maternal health outcomes, including social, cultural, and economic determinants, women empowerment, education, gender, and sexual and reproductive rights. He has extensive experience in project development and execution and is skilled in both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Ernest is equally interested in harnessing the potential of youth for socioeconomic development as well as advocating for good leadership and governance, which are critically needed for Africa’s development. Ernest uses his leisure time to read, swim, explore graphic design software and watch investigative and innovative series.
