Dr. Doris Ekua Yalley is a seasoned educationist specialized in African Christian Spirituality, African Traditional Religion, Philosophy and Culture, Morality and Ethics, and Church Historical Studies. Her teaching career spans over three decades, and she has dedicated nearly two decades to tertiary education. She currently lectures in African Traditional Life and Thought, Church Historical Studies, and Christianity in Contemporary Africa.
Dr. Yalley obtained her Doctor of Philosophy degree in the Study of Religions from the University of Ghana, Legon, specializing in African Christian spirituality. Her research explored the relationship between sacred site visits and Spiritual Renewal exercises in the Methodist Church Ghana.
Research Interests
Her research interests revolve around African Christian Spirituality, Church Historical Studies, Morality and Ethics, and Institutional and non-Institutional Pilgrimages.
