CU FACULTY OF LAW CELEBRATES OVER 50 ALUMNI CALLED TO THE BAR 

Central University’s Faculty of Law is proudly celebrating a significant milestone as over 50 of its former students were recently called to the bar by the General Legal Council last month, on Friday 20th October. This achievement not only reflects the dedication and commitment of these talented individuals but also underscores the exceptional legal education provided by Central University. The journey to becoming a lawyer is arduous, demanding, and rigorous, but it is one that these graduates embarked upon with determination and unwavering focus.  

Central University’s Faculty of Law (FOL) has long been renowned for its exceptional legal education, and these newly minted lawyers are a testament to the institution’s dedication to fostering the brightest legal minds. The Faculty of Law offers the four-year LLB program for WASSCE students and a three-year post-degree LLB program for graduate students. By combining academic excellence with real-world application, the School of Law cultivates future leaders in the legal profession.  

During their time at Central University, these alumni were instilled with a deep sense of ethics, critical thinking, and the importance of upholding justice. They have been well-equipped to tackle the complex legal challenges of the modern world and contribute positively to society. As they embark on their professional careers, these newly called lawyers will undoubtedly make significant contributions to the legal field, both locally and internationally.
