The week-long celebration featured a rich blend of educational, recreational, cultural, and community-centred activities that highlighted the School’s commitment to holistic student development and social impact.

The celebration commenced on Monday, 4th May, with a colourful Corporate Fashion Show that set the tone for the week. Students confidently modelled a variety of corporate and professional attire suitable for lectures, internships, the workplace, and national service. Beyond the glamour and excitement, the event emphasized professionalism, confidence, and decent dressing as essential values for future business leaders. The atmosphere was lively and engaging, attracting significant attention from the university community.

On Tuesday, 5th May, the focus shifted to academic excellence with the Interdepartmental Quiz Competition. Students from various departments competed in intellectually stimulating rounds covering business knowledge, current affairs, and general academic topics. The competition fostered teamwork, critical thinking, and healthy rivalry among participants, with the Department of Accounting emerging as the overall winners. The event further demonstrated the strong academic culture within the School.

As part of efforts to equip students with practical life skills, the School collaborated with the SRC Finance Committee on Thursday, 7th May, to organise a Financial Literacy Seminar. The seminar educated students on budgeting, savings, responsible spending, and financial planning, particularly in preparation for national service and future independence. Participants gained valuable insights into personal financial management, reinforcing the School’s commitment to producing not only academically competent graduates but also financially responsible individuals.

The climax of the week took place on Friday, 8th May, with a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Outreach at Dawenhya Basic School. During the outreach, students donated stationery, hygiene products, groceries, clothing, and sanitary pads to pupils, including support for students with disabilities. Interactive sessions on personal hygiene, decent dressing, and self-care inspired the young learners and strengthened the bond between the School and the surrounding community. The outreach reflected the values of compassion, inclusivity, and service that define the ethos of Central University.

On Saturday, 9th May, students embarked on a recreational trip to Bonsu Eco Park. The trip provided opportunities for hiking, relaxation, and team-bonding exercises in a serene natural environment. The experience encouraged collaboration, wellness, and appreciation for environmental sustainability while strengthening friendships and unity among students.

The week-long celebration concluded on Sunday, 10th May, with a solemn Thanksgiving Service. Students gathered in gratitude for a successful and impactful week, reflecting on the achievements, experiences, and lessons gained throughout the celebrations. The service emphasized unity, appreciation, and spiritual growth, bringing the event to a meaningful close.
