The focus of the CU BPH programme is to produce world-class, ethical, transformational,action-oriented, and committed public health professionals, recognised for their competence in providing quality, health-related services and promoting healthy lifestyles to populations. The programme adopts ethical student-centric training in public health principles to advance health knowledge, innovation, research, community service, and professionalism. It offers specialisations in Disease Control, Health Information, Public Health Nutrition, among others.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- SSSCE: Credit passes of grade ‘D’ or better in three (3) core subjects –
Integrated Science / Social Studies, Core Mathematics, and English Language in addition to three Science elective subjects or Home Economics with Science electives
- WASSCE: Credit passes of grade ‘C6’ or better in three (3) core subjects –
Integrated Science / Social Studies, Core Mathematics, and English Language in addition to three Science elective subjects or Home Economics with Science electives
- GCE Applicants: Applicants must have credit passes in at least five (5) GCE O-Level subjects, including English Language, Mathematics and one Science subject and at least two passes at GCE A-Level in Mathematics and any other subject. A pass in General Paper is also required.
- Awards for Training and Higher Education (ATHE) – UK Level 3: Diploma in Health and Social Care from Central University
- Diploma: At least a Second-Class Lower pass in Environmental Health, Disease Control, Nutrition, Health Promotion, or Health Information from the School of Hygiene, Accra, or the College of Health and Well-Being, Kintampo, etc.
- Post First Degree holders: At least passes in Biological, Physical, or any Allied Health Sciences from recognised Universities.
- Foreign applicants: Must have qualifications equivalent to the above with proof of evaluation from GTEC to be considered for admission.
