The programme is designed to train highly skilled, world-class, transformational, and ethical public health professionals, competent in providing high-quality, health-related services and promoting healthy lifestyles for populations. It offers both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Public Health through a multidisciplinary, student-centred approach. Upon graduation, students would be adequately equipped to practice as allied health professionals in healthcare, research, regulatory, and industry settings, both locally and internationally.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- WASSSCE: Credits (at least C6) in three (3) core subjects: English, Integrated Science or Social Studies, and Mathematics, and three (3) elective subjects in Science or Home Economics (with elective Science subjects).
- SSSCE: Credit passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three (3) core subjects: English, Integrated Science or Social Studies, and Mathematics, plus three (3) elective subjects in Science or Home Economics (with elective Science subjects), not exceeding aggregate 12.
- Holders of the Awards for Training and Higher Education (ATHE) – UK Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care from Central University enter at L100.
- Passes in three (3) GCE A Level subjects or equivalent in Science subjects, plus credits in at least five (5) GCE ‘O’ Level subjects including English, Mathematics and a Science subject. A pass in General Paper is also required.
- Diploma holders in Public Health, Environmental Health, Disease Control, or any other related field of study, with a GPA of 2.5 or better, from the Schools of Hygiene, or Colleges of Health and Well-Being, e.g., Kintampo, or any similarly recognised institution (for L200 or L300 admission)
- HND holders in any Science or Health-related discipline with at least a Second-Class Lower Division (for L200 admission).
- Post First Degree holders with a pass in any Science or Health-related discipline (for L200 admission).
- Foreign applicants must have qualifications equivalent to the above to be considered for admission and must receive authentication of the equivalences from the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC). Their results must also be translated into English.
