Ninnette Quaofio is a result driven Architect and lecturer, with excellent communication skills and a personable nature. An expect in sustainable design concepts (EDGE Expert), space planning, interior design and master layouts. Has good interpretation of client’s design ideas and is a team player. Currently interested in climate change Architecture related research, passionate about imparting knowledge (teaching) in the fields of Architecture and Building Construction. Ninnette has over ten years architectural practice experience serving as managing partner for Design Illumination Gh., Ltd with several projects civic and residential completed. She is an Associate of the Ghana Institute of Architects with an MSc Architecture from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and currently the Course Coordinator for Architecture, School of Architecture and Design. She teaches Architectural Design studio I, ICT in Real Estate and Graphic design, Architectural design theory and Architectural science. She has served on several committees including academic board, faculty board, course reaccreditation committee, academic auditors, scholarships for needy but brilliant students, school research and conferences committee among others. Her research interest areas include; Urban regeneration and housing, designing for greater efficiency, climate change responsiveness, boundary walls and their social impacts, religious architecture and its relevance on liturgy etc.
