In accordance with Section 8(4) of the Statutes of Central University, the University Council, which is vested with the authority to appoint senior officers of the University upon the recommendations of the University Appointments and Promotions Committee (UAPC), has approved the promotion of two distinguished faculty members.
At its meeting held on Tuesday, 9th December 2025, Council considered and endorsed the recommendations of the UAPC for the elevation of the following faculty members to the rank of Associate Professor.
