The Counseling & Career Service Centre, in collaboration with the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI), successfully hosted a Mentorship and Career Outreach on Saturday, 28th March 2026, at Trinity Hall, Miotso Campus.

The event brought together students and seasoned professionals in an atmosphere charged with purpose and inspiration. Participants were given a unique opportunity to engage directly with mentors from diverse professional backgrounds, fostering meaningful conversations on career development and personal growth.

The outreach featured a series of insightful presentations spanning key areas such as banking and finance, entrepreneurship, leadership, law, healthcare, and ethical decision-making. Each session was thoughtfully designed to equip students with practical knowledge and relevant skills needed to thrive in today’s dynamic and competitive world.

Participants benefited from engaging discussions on critical topics including navigating career pathways and overcoming limitations, responsible use of social media, mental health awareness, addressing addiction and depression, and building strong leadership and professional values. These sessions not only informed but also challenged students to reflect deeply on their aspirations and life choices.
Beyond the professional and academic insights shared, the programme also created space for spiritual reflection and renewal. In a profound moment during the outreach, several students made the life-changing decision to commit their lives to Christ, while many others signed up to become members of the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International—marking a significant moment of personal transformation and spiritual growth.

A major highlight of the event was the interactive question-and-answer segment and one-on-one breakout sessions. These provided students with the opportunity to engage closely with experts in fields such as journalism, architecture, business, and personal development, allowing for tailored guidance and mentorship.

The Mentorship and Career Outreach proved to be more than just an academic engagement—it was a holistic experience that empowered students intellectually, professionally, and spiritually. Indeed, minds were enlightened, lives were impacted, and destinies were aligned with purpose.

Central University remains committed to creating transformative experiences that prepare students not only for successful careers but also for meaningful lives of impact.
