Central University Vice-Chancellor Appointed to Africa Higher Education Rankings Interim Advisory Council

Central University is pleased to announce that its Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kwasi Dartey-Baah, has been appointed to serve on the Interim Advisory Council (IAC) of the Africa Higher Education Rankings.

The IAC has been constituted to provide strategic guidance in the development of the foundational governance structures for the Rankings and to support the identification of candidates for the permanent governing board.

Prof. Dartey-Baah’s appointment is a recognition of his experience and contribution to higher education leadership and provides an important opportunity for Central University to contribute to the development of a credible, Africa-led higher education measurement system.

The University is particularly encouraged by the opportunity for its perspectives and experiences to form part of this important continental conversation on quality, excellence, institutional performance and the future of higher education in Africa.

Prof. Dartey-Baah is expected to bring to the Council the perspective and experience of a Ghanaian higher education leader, while contributing meaningfully to the broader continental discourse on higher education quality, benchmarking and rankings.

The University congratulates the Vice-Chancellor on this appointment and wishes him a successful and impactful tenure on the Interim Advisory Council.
