
The Executive Committee of the Academic Board of Central University has held a strategic meeting on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, to review key policies on student welfare, campus activities, university events and student leadership engagements as part of the University’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe, disciplined and supportive learning environment.
The meeting, chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kwasi Dartey-Baah, brought together members of the University’s leadership to discuss measures aimed at strengthening institutional oversight and deepening collaboration with student leaders in promoting responsible conduct, personal development and adherence to the University’s core values of Faith, Integrity and Excellence.
Discussions focused on enhancing existing policies and introducing additional measures to safeguard student wellbeing, strengthen accountability and reinforce a campus culture that supports academic success, personal growth and responsible citizenship.

The Executive Committee reaffirmed the University’s unwavering commitment to student safety and welfare and resolved to work closely with the Students’ Representative Council (SRC), faculty, staff, parents and other stakeholders to uphold the high standards expected of a leading institution of higher learning.
The meeting also reviewed ongoing academic, research and institutional development initiatives that continue to position Central University among Ghana’s respected private universities. Leadership expressed confidence in the University’s continued growth and its ability to produce graduates who are academically competent, ethically grounded and equipped to make meaningful contributions to society.
