MR. PHILIP AYAGRE

 

 

Philip Ayagre is a Lecturer with the Accounting department of Central Business School, Central University in Accra, Ghana. He holds an MSc in Banking and Finance from Loughborough University United Kingdom (UK) and a qualified Management Accountant (UK). 

Philip has a number of years of experience in consulting with KPMG Ghana as a Senior Associate. With KPMG, Philip was involved in various advisory activities including: Fraud risk awareness training, process reviews and management of ethics line facilities, Management audit, and internal audit. He has facilitated Risk Based Internal Audit trainings for internal auditors and management assurance training for risk managers in Ghana. 

He has taught introduction to accounting at MBA level, Fundamentals of Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Control, Business Ethics, Management and Accountability, Property Capital Management, at the undergraduate level at Central Business School. He is an academic course advisor for level 400 students and has served on various committees of Central Business School. His research interest include; internal controls, internal audit, fraud risk management, accountability in public sector organisations, and ethics in business.
