Mr. John Ackon,is the recent past Head of Accounting Department and a Senior Lecturer at Central University. Prior to becoming the Head of Department, he has been a lecturer with the University for fifteen (years) teaching and supervising at both the graduate school and the undergraduate school. He worked at JQC (Chartered Accountant and Management Consulting Firm) as a Senior Audit Manager.
He is a Certified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountant Ghana and a professional Teacher. He has also acquired extensive experience in management consulting services in the area of systems design, assets management, valuation of business, short term financial planning as well as long term budgeting.
