DR. MRS. GLORIA CLARISA DZEHA


PROFILE

Dr. Gloria Clarissa Odorkor Dzeha is an accomplished administrator, academic, and researcher with over 16 years of experience in higher education. She is a Senior Lecturer in Finance and currently serves as Acting Director of the Christ Temple Campus of Central University, where she also heads the Department of Finance at the Central Business School.

Previously, she served as Dean of Students and Alumni Affairs at Central University, first in an acting capacity for three years and then substantively for two.

Dr. Dzeha has taught extensively at both undergraduate and graduate levels, covering courses such as International Trade and Finance, Investments and Risk Management, Treasury Management, Financial Markets and Institutions, and Managerial Economics. Her research interests include Investment and Risk Management, Corporate Governance, Development Financing, Remittances, Foreign Direct Investment, and Economic Development.

She has presented award-winning papers at several international conferences, including the World Finance Conference (USA), African Review of Economics and Finance Conference (South Africa), and the Global Science and Technology Forum (Singapore). Her work has been published in reputable academic journals.

A member in good standing of the ACI Financial Market Association of Ghana, Dr. Dzeha is also a research fellow at the Centre for Economics, Finance and Inequality Studies (CEFIS), contributing to its annual banking sector reports.

Her academic journey includes a Diploma in Statistics with distinction from ISSER (1998), a First Class BSc in Banking and Finance (2006), an MPhil (2009), and a PhD in Finance (2018), all from the University of Ghana Business School. Known for her precision, discipline, and strong work ethic, she thrives in dynamic, results-oriented environments. She is goal-driven, values structure and is committed to excellence. Dr. Dzeha is also an effective communicator with a wide professional network and a collaborative leadership style.
