Central University Opens Admissions for the 2026/2027 Academic Year
Accra, Ghana – 2nd May, 2026
Central University is pleased to announce the commencement of admissions for the 2026/2027 Academic Year. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into Undergraduate, Top-Up, Postgraduate, Doctoral degrees and Diploma programmes.
The 2026/2027 admission is open to a wide range of applicants, including holders of WASSCE, SSCE, Advanced Level, ABCE, GBCE, International Baccalaureate (IB), and Mature candidates into undergraduate programmes, as well as individuals seeking admission into postgraduate and Doctoral programmes following the completion of their first and second degrees.
Prospective applicants who already have their examination results are encouraged to apply. Also, candidates scheduled to sit for the WASSCE in July/August 2026 are eligible to submit their applications. WASSCE applicant may check their eligibility via https://eligibility.central.edu.gh/
As part of efforts to enhance accessibility and convenience, applicants can purchase admission e-vouchers by dialling *887*9# on all mobile networks. The application process is fully online and can be completed via the University’s admissions portal at central.edu.gh/online.
