BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INTERIOR DESIGN

  1. The Bachelor of Science in Interior Design programme is an inspiring, rigorous and practical curriculum that offers students the unique opportunity to use creativity and imagination to design and make products that solve real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts. Currently, few tertiary institutions in the country run a comprehensive academic curriculum in Interior Design. The B.Sc. Interior Design students will undertake the same courses in the foundation level with other students in the B.Sc. Landscape Design, Graphic Design and Fashion Design programmes. The foundation of the programme introduces students to the multi-disciplinary fundamentals of design across different facets of design, such as techniques in form-making and conceptual visualisation. The design elements progressively increase in depth and complexity over the next three years with the introduction of the interior specialisation area interwoven with research, skills and visualisation to enhance the academics with profession-specific requirements.
