Accountant – Wood Manufacturing Company (Asikuma, Eastern Region) 
A leading wood manufacturing company in Asikuma, Eastern Region, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage its financial operations. This is a full-time, on-site position, and the successful candidate must be willing to live on-site.
Location: Asikuma, Eastern Region

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and oversee daily transactions
Manage payroll processing, tax compliance, and statutory payments
Handle budgeting, financial planning, and reporting
Oversee inventory and cost control to minimize wastage and losses
Ensure banking, cash flow management, and reconciliations are up to date
Implement internal financial controls and support risk management
Work closely with operations and procurement teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA)
Minimum 3 years of experience (preferably in manufacturing or wood processing) Proficiency in Accounting software & MS Excel Strong understanding of Ghanaian tax laws and financial regulations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently Willingness to live on-site at the company premises
