LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER


INDUSTRY: HR CONSULTANCY
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Learning and Development Officer to join our
dynamic HR consultancy team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for enhancing
employee skills and fostering a culture of continuous learning. The Learning and Development
Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing training programmes to
improve performance and productivity within our client organisations.
LOCATION: Nyamekye, Accra
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Assess training needs through discussions with clients, managers, and employee feedback.
 Develop and deliver training programmes tailored to client needs, focusing on skill
development, leadership, and career growth.
 Design and implement learning strategies, including e-learning modules, workshops, and
on-the-job training.
 Coordinate with external training providers and ensure high-quality training materials.
 Track the effectiveness of training programmes using feedback, performance metrics, and
assessments.
 Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest learning technologies and training
methodologies.
 Support employee development initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals.
 Prepare reports on training activities, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
 Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in HR, learning, and development.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
 Minimum of 1 year of experience in Learning and Development or a similar HR role.
 Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Curriculum Development or
related field.
 Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
 Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Learning Management Systems
(LMS).
 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
