Job Summary
The Hospitality Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a hostel and apartments, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving revenue growth. This role involves managing operations of the establishment, housekeeping, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Overseeall operations, including check-in/check-out, room assignments, and guest inquiries.
- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service, responding to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Revenue Management: Analyze occupancy rates, room rates, and revenue streams to optimize revenue growth.
- Housekeeping and Maintenance: Ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance, overseeing housekeeping and maintenance staff.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise hospitality staff, ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage hospitality budgets, controlling costs and ensuring profitable operations.
- Marketing and Sales: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote the establishment and drive revenue growth.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in hospitality management, with progressive responsibility.
- Certifications: Hospitality certification, such as Certified Hospitality Manager (CHM), will be an advantage.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in hospitality software and systems.
