Role Tittle : Health ,Safety ,Environment & Sustainability Supervisor
Role Summary : We are seeking for a Health, Safety ,Environment & Sustainability Supervisor to support in maintaining a high standard of health, safety and risk management processes through the development of a safety management system that ensures the organization’s occupational health and safety requirements meet or exceed recognized industry benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Proactively assists all departments in the implementation and embedding of health and safety work programs.
• Ensure the safety management system delivers a consistent approach to ensure legislative requirements are met.
• Ensure health and safety information and performance is clearly and accurately communicated to all staff in a clear and concise manner.
• Implement a programmed approach to regular workplace audits and inspections, hazard or near miss reporting and risk assessments, thereby ensuring that identified risk control measures are recorded and acted on in a timely manner.
• Monitor and review emergency response procedures and first aid procedures (including training) for all departments.
• Identify and facilitate strategies and programs in order to mitigate claims potential, and improve the safety of all staff, contractors and visitors.
Education and Experience:
• Degree in Environmental Science or relevant field of related discipline.
• Extensive experience in health, safety and ideally environmental management.
