MS. GERTRUDE ARTHUR

She joined the Law Faculty in 2020 and has taught International Human Rights law, Natural Resources, Law of Contracts, and Tort.

Gertrude combines both local and international legal knowledge and professional work experience having previously worked at the Legal Services Commission (UK); Uniting World (Australia) and also in the Legal – Corporate & Commercial Affairs Division at MTN Ghana.

She holds a combined LL.M in International Law & International Relations from the University of New South Wales in Sydney Australia. She completed her Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL. B) from Nottingham Trent University England, in 2009 and the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Nottingham Law School in 2011.

Research interests: include International Human Rights, Natural Resources, Public International Law, and Developing Countries & the International System.
