Marian began teaching in 1995 as a National Service person with the 31st December Women’s Day Care Centre, Teshie. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Cape Coast and a Master of Philosophy degree in Communication Studies from the University of Ghana, Legon. She proceeded to read for a Doctoral Degree in Media and Gender Studies at the University of Sussex, Brighton. Marian joined the Communication and Media Studies Department of Central University in 2001, and rose through the ranks to become Head of Department. She is involved in various aspects of students’ lives, particularly seeing to their incorporation into the world of work.
Dr. Tsegah is a researcher with a passion for Advertising and Gender Studies. She is married with three children and loves to interact with people in order to know more about the world.
