Our client, a 3 – star hotel in Accra is seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager with proven experience in the hospitality industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue from rooms, event spaces, and food & beverage services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, targeting corporate clients, event planners, and high-end travel agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring the highest level of service and repeat business.
- Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content creation, social media, and traditional advertising, to promote the hotel’s services and unique offerings.
- Promote the hotel as a premium destination for conferences, weddings, and corporate events, working closely with event planners to meet client needs.
- Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing, availability, and sales tactics, ensuring competitive positioning.
- Develop and maintain the hotel’s brand image, ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing channels and materials.
- Conduct regular market analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture and driving continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 8 years of experience in a senior sales and marketing role within the hotel or luxury hospitality industry.
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of hotel sales, conference services, and event planning
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
- Expertise in digital marketing, branding, and client acquisition strategies.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- A well-established network of contacts in the hospitality and events industry is highly desirable.
